Hi there everyone,
With the rain now here and water levels starting to get to a good level lets try the intro session again.

Can you please indicate below if you want to come along on the paddle. This will be a coaching based trip, hopefully Hardy will run a club trip aswell in so that will be for anyone who has some river experience already.

I will keep this updated to with meeting places and the like closer to the day and when we know ideas of people.

Luke

Hi Luke,

I would like to come and am probably better suited to the intro than a club run.

However, I am between boats at the moment so will have to confirm closer to the time.

Hi Luke,

JC has played a blinder and I should be picking up my new boat tomorrow, so count me in for Sunday (assuming it is going ahead).

Hi Luke,

Would I be right in thinking there is unlikely to be a paddle this weekend with the rivers looking low again!!

Cheers

Glad we have lots of people wanting to join us.

Everyone please remember to wrap up warm, especially the kids.

With the interest we will split the groups up and have two intro groups and helpers.

Remember if you want to do the intro then there is a £5 charge per person.

See you tomorrow Luke

Thanks to all for today. I really enjoyed it, just hope to be able to enjoy it for a little longer next time (practice in the meantime)!

Cheers,

Hey guys !

I thought Sunday's paddle was very successful . Yes we had some swimmers , but they were either "playing" , or "practicing" ; Besides , it is always good to practice rescue skills to . I particularly liked Henry's bravery (takes after his mum) , Daisy's "key strokes" , Matt's endeavour , and Steve Hawkins' entertainment ( taking the mantle from me ).

Aside from the paddle , there is one thing some of us could think a bit more about : Shuttles ! If we all share the responsability it makes for a swifter move to the actual paddle . As it was busy Sunday , had we been a bit quicker , we may have gotten on the river before the other groups ( good practice for groups to steer clear of each other ).

Never-the-less , it is a real pleasure seeing people's paddling progress , and i think we all enjoyed it .
