The programme has a club trip planned for 2nd December. At present the weather forecast does not look hopeful for there being any water for us to paddle a river.

Of course this would be disappointing to many of us however if there is desire I am happy to lead a flat water trip of anything that is suitable. Ideas that come to mind would be the wye or the avon. If there is interest for this then please let me know.

In the meantime lets all hope that the forecast changes and we can get a proper whitewater trip.

I would be interested in a flat water trip.

The Avon would be nice as I haven't done that (other than Saltford). Heard the Torridge is good, though slightly further afield. Wye is always good.

If it is a flat water trip, what would your thoughts be regarding me having a go in an open boat? Haven't been in one since Biblins 2016 so very rusty / inexperienced but need to practice for 2*.

I won't be around on the Saturday as I have a family commitment.

Will be going to CIWW or a river (if the weather changes, though it's not looking likely) on Sunday, feel free to come along.

Hi Andy, I’d be interested in that if I can get away for long enough.

So as suspected the river levels are very low making a whitewater trip not possible.

Having had very little interest in running a flat water trip (only Matt for definite) and also the fact that it is likely to be very cold then I propose to cancel this trip unless I get further significant interest in the next few hours.

Apologies to all for this, we have the Christmas paddle very soon so lets make sure we have a great turn out and festive fun for that.

As I haven't heard anything further I am cancelling tomorrow's paddle.

Hope it rains soon.

I'm still gonna be going to CIWW Sunday

Once we know exactly who is up for it we can work out lifts and such, seems silly everyone driving over
